Background

Practice areas:
Sabrina provides advice on commercial law issues.

The advice is given in both Danish and English, and her knowledge of English has continuously been improved among other things by attending classes abroad at London School of Economics and Lloyd’s Maritime Academy as well as dedicated English lessons at the office.

Sabrina’s counseling does not only focus on legal aspects as she also manages to combine these aspects with the commercial aspects in the matter.

Sabrina has specialised in contracts within the offshore business, especially with focus on contractual liabilities, and has written a master’s thesis on the so-called “knock-for-knock” clause in offshore contracts.

She provides advice on commercial contracts, not only within the offshore business but also within other lines of business. Her advice focuses on the liabilities and risks of the customer with the aim of creating value for the customer.

Furthermore, Sabrina is engaged in transport and shipping, and she assists among other things in connection with damage claims and liability claims related to cargo loss and delay during transport, as well as drafting of contracts.

Sabrina further provides advice on company law issues, including everything from company formation, shareholders’ agreement and disputes between shareholders to drafting of general terms and conditions, etc.

Sabrina has served as in-house lawyer and has thereby gained a profound commercial understanding, which has strengthened her ability to provide legal advice in a commercial perspective and collaborate across practice groups.

Educational Background:
Sabrina graduated with a Master’s Degree in law from Aarhus University in February 2016.

In connection with her studies at Aarhus University, she has studied European company law at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Sabrina has subsequently participated in a higher education programme on transport and shipping, among other things on chartering at Lloyd’s Maritime Academy.

Career History:
Prior to her employment as assistant attorney, Sabrina has worked at Kirk Larsen & Ascanius as student.

In addition to her studies at Aarhus University, she has taught basic property law as student instructor at the Department of Law at Aarhus University.
